Warranty and service terms

Quotes and booking

Quote requests are free. ₹500 is required to book an installation. This amount is non-refundable and deducted from the final bill. It carries over if the installation is rescheduled by one or two days.

Payment

The balance is payable immediately after installation and testing. Service support starts only after full payment is confirmed, and delayed payment may suspend it.

Returns and refunds

Products cannot be returned or refunded after installation.

Manufacturer warranty

Equipment carries a 2-year warranty under the manufacturer’s policy, covering confirmed manufacturing defects only. Please keep product barcodes intact, as they are needed for warranty claims.

Fix Point Service Support

Confirmed packages include 2 years of service support, subject to these terms. If repeat visits are needed because the site was not ready or was rescheduled by the customer, this support may be withdrawn.

Five-year camera replacement

Camera replacement beyond the manufacturer warranty requires an active AMC. Your quote and AMC agreement confirm the coverage.

What is not covered

Burnt components, physical or liquid damage, short circuits, voltage fluctuations, lightning, power surges, mishandling, tampering, pins, cables, loose connections, oxidation, corrosion, SMPS units and network issues. SD cards, adapters and camera stands are excluded. Wi-Fi, solar and SIM cameras are covered by their brand warranty only.

Visiting charges

A ₹750 visiting charge applies to out-of-warranty products and to service visits outside our main coverage area. Any installation travel charge is confirmed in your quote.

Fault priority

Non-critical issues such as missing audio or a flickering or wavy picture may be handled on a scheduled visit when a technician is in your area. Emergency and 24×7 service is not available.
